About Dr. Butler
Board-certified rheumatologist Jeffery B. Butler, MD, joined Arthritis Northwest PLLC in Spokane, Washington, as a staff rheumatologist in 2001.
He uses his considerable experience and expertise in the specialty of rheumatology to help patients in and around the local community find relief from their pain and other symptoms and enjoy a better quality of life.
Dr. Butler earned his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his residency at hospitals affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was also a fellow of Rheumatology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland.
Before joining Arthritis Northwest PLLC, Dr. Butler taught medicine and rheumatology at Oregon Health & Science University and then spent 10 years in private practice in the Spokane area.
In addition to his passion for helping patients, Dr. Butler is committed to his role as a principal investigator in clinical research.
With this work, he aims to improve the future diagnosis and treatment of patients with rheumatological conditions.
